Photos from first thesis presentations at SHU’s Writing Popular Fiction residency #SHUWPF

Here are some shots from Genevieve Eldredge, Elle Stone, and Martina Tate‘s thesis defenses in Seton Hill’s Writing Popular Fiction program last night. In our program, students write and revise a novel over two years, workign one-on-one with two different “mentors” (aka advisors) and a mix of critique groups online all the way…culminating in a reading and defense in their final residency.  They talk about their writing process, and answer questions from an audience of peers and teachers about their choices and career plans.  Congrats to everyone for prenting their completed novels — and best wishes in acquiring a publisher! (Also pictured here: advisors who introduced/’interrogated’ them:  Timons Esaias, Nicole Peeler, David Shifren).
