+ Carve something unrelated to Halloween into a kind of Jack O'Lantern. + Play "eyes, ears, nose, and throat": put one of these organs in a place where it doesn't belong (on a mutant character's body is easiest, of course) and write. + Go to a local "rental center" and browse the tools, appliances, and furnishings.
