New on Pedablogue: QR Codes and my Campus Office Door

Of possible interest to students and teachers: Over on my education-oriented weblog, Pedablogue, I posted a brief description of how I'm planning to use QR Codes to set up office hours this coming Fall at Seton Hill University. “Scream in Hell” — a dark painting by @JustAfterSunset

Writer/artist Stephanie Wytovich was one of my students at SHU.  She gave me this great weird painting as a parting gift shortly before she received her BA degree.  She didn't tell me its title, if it has one.  So I'm calling it "Scream in Hell"...which is probably what writing that final paper for my Lit Crit course was like.... But seriously, she's quite a talent, and really knows her stuff.  So watch out for Wyto!  She's already begun publishing her dark poetry and short fiction here and there (see links on her blog), and she's currently enrolled in our MFA…
